-flicked off by a few taxi drivers
-chinese grandmas rolling over my feet with their walkers (the ones with the tennis balls attached to the bottom)
-using my car horn over excessively and feeling angrer against non-SFers who don't know how to drive in the city. i think i fit in here pretty well bc driving crazy is a norm here and a mistake here isn't really a mistake. accidentally running a red isn't stupid, its just CRAZY! cutting people off isn't a bad thing, its a must!
-hopping onto buses/cable car without paying (i justify this from all the parking tickets ive gotten. now i just need to hop onto about... 200 more buses?)
-almost picked up a hitchiker (accidentally)
-saw several fights on the streets... weaves falling out and everything. do not EVER EVER do anything to offend 14 year old black girls unless i want to be half bald with my face kicked in. noted.
-almost perfected my parallel parking
-having several panic/paranoia attacks whenever i see a man walking behind me on the street at night.. very hard to get that key in the door while looking frantically over my shoulder then back at my key then back at the man then back at the key. once i finally get inside i push the gate as fast i can and give it a pull to ensure my safety.
-got cussed out by several crazy people on the streets ("don't ignore me" "you'll burn in hell") these are all words i wish i could forget but i wasn't de-sensitized by then. now i really don't listen for what they are saying.
-having two tourists stop me on the same day to take pictures for them, of course only when im late to work
-jumped ONTO a MOVING cable car... almost killed myself.. who does that???! i guess a boy would. that just shows how much I HATE walking. usually that isn't allowed, but i think the cable car driver thought it was funny because he was laughing. Imagine a girl chasing after a moving cable car and jumping on. by the way, it was on my way to the polls. the voting poll that was one block away. of course i didn't know that or I would have just walked the 20 steps down the street. soon after catching my breath, i jumped right back off.
oh yea and almost forgot... the poor clown sitting next to me on the bus. kids were laughing at him.. but i think for the wrong reasons. now that i think about, he was like one of those clowns in the cartoons, the bitter depressed ones that drink all day long.
I've definitely had enough of this life as a San Franciscan. Very different then from what I was used to. I still miss the laid back atmosphere of san diego. But I'm happy.
